Refund Policy - Hadley Group Limited T/A Miss Messy

General Refund Policy

All bookings at Miss Messy are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds, credits, or transfers if you change your mind or are unable to attend your booked session.

Our refund policy complies with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA). For more information on consumer rights, please visit New Zealand Consumer Protection.

Miss Messy Play Sessions, Gift Cards & Multi-Passes

  • We do not offer refunds for cancellations of play sessions, gift cards, or multi-entry passes.

  • Multi-passes, gift cards, and promotions are non-transferable and can only be used at the original purchase location.

Birthday Party Bookings

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your birthday party booking. This amount is deducted from your total balance.

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled event.

  • If you cancel your party more than 7 days before the event, you will receive a refund excluding the deposit.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of your event, the full payment becomes non-refundable.

  • Bookings are non-transferable and must be used at the original Miss Messy venue where booked.

Private Venue Hire

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your private venue hire.

  • A bond is also required to cover potential issues such as excessive cleaning, damage, misuse of equipment, or failure to vacate on time. If all conditions are met, the bond will be refunded within one week.

  • The full balance, including the bond, must be paid at least 10 working days prior to your event.

  • Cancellations made more than 10 working days before the event will receive a refund excluding the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 10 working days will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled booking are non-refundable, except for the bond, which will be refunded within one week.

  • Venue hire is valid only at the location booked and is non-transferable.

  • Private venue hire includes exclusive access. Additional time can be arranged for an extra fee of per hour rate, which is non-refundable if cancelled within 72 hours.

  • All final details, including guest lists, food platters, additional hours, and dietary requirements, must be confirmed and paid at least 72 hours before the event.

Rescheduling & Transfers

  • If you are unable to attend your booked session, you may reschedule within 30 days or transfer your session to someone else. Please contact us at missmessynz@gmail.com to arrange changes.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be confirmed at least 24 hours before your original booking.

Payment Disputes

Miss Messy uses booking software to manage our booking, ticketing, and payment processing. All transactions will appear on your bank statement as a charge from Hadley Group Limited.
